PM 10 Concentration Reporting

 

With the publication of the new Clean Air Act on 17 October 2006, 40CFR Parts 53 and 58 (http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/01jan20061800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2006/pdf/06-8478.pdf )

EPA Confirms that all PM 10 data must be reported to EPA Standard Conditions. These are: Barometric Pressure as 760 Torr (mm of Hg) and T ambient as 25 C. Inasmuch all modern reference samplers which were initially designed to monitor PM2.5 sample on a Volumetric (actual) basis, your Data must be converted to Standard when reporting it.

PM2.5 Data and PM Coarse Data will be reported as Volumetric. In order to facilitate the conversion of Volumetric to Standard data, the following spreadsheet is made available:
