This test kit is perfect for testing in industries, which use mercury, such as the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and dyes, wood preservation, disinfectants, embalming, dry batteries and photographic processing.

The Mercury Check Kit is an easy to use test for the presence of mercury on any surface. Results are obtained within 30 seconds and will remain stable for hours. When mercury is present, the swab will turn purple. Testing for metallic mercury is also possible by following a simple procedure. A confirmation card is provided, to verify results. If the swab does not turn purple, simply rub the activated swab on the test card. If the swab and/or card runs purple, the swab is working properly and the result obtained on the test site is a true negative result. The negative results indicates that the test area contains no mercury or very low levels (less than 2 micrograms).
