There are a growing number of specialist sampling applications which require flows in the 4 Lpm range for 24 hours. This need is now met by the BGI 400S Personal Sampling Pump. Designed for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) work, the pump noise level is less than 50 dBA. Collector pressure drops of up to 40 cm of H2O can be maintained throughout the sampling period. An additional model added since the original introduction of the "24 Hour Quiet Personal Sampler" is the world's first 10 Lpm Personal sampler. At this high flow rate the noise level is less than 55 dBA.

The instrument is powered by a separate Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack which is also fitted with a belt clip. The 10 Lpm version utilizes the first rechargable Lithium Ion battery applied to a personal particulate sampler.

Calibration

The finest samplers deserve the finest calibrators. The BGI deltaCal and tetraCal® (formally triCal) are NIST traceable and the only electronic devices usable down to -30° C.
