Special Made-to-Order Cyclones

Over the past decade or more, personnel at BGI have acquired extensive experience in the design and manufacturing of cyclones for the Ambient Monitoring, Industrial Hygiene, IAQ and Aerosol Science areas. At this point we are pre eminent in this technology. This is demonstrated by the fact that the USEPA and the four leading manufactures of particulate air samplers rely on our designs for their equipment. We have also designed as few as a single specimen for special needs in aerosol science and highly toxic applications. Materials of construction vary from raw aluminum to stainless steel. The variety of shapes and configurations may be appreciated by viewing our standard offerings.

In an effort to more support these industries we are expanding our cyclone base to include "Special - Made to Order" cyclones. We can now quote cyclones specially made for our customers based upon their unique requirements.

Limitations: In purchasing a custom or standard cyclone, you are not purchasing the design nor the right to manufacture copies. However a design purchase agreement is available.

It should be borne in mind that these cyclones are based on the Sharp Cut Model. This is an extensively tested and used model and custom designs will not be retested.
