| BGI, Incorporated was founded in 1971 for the purpose of developing and manufacturing instruments for the sampling of airborne particulates -- aerosols. Our sphere of interest has spanned the range from the submicron fraction (Pollak nuclei counter) to 100 micrometers (high volume samplers). The company owns patents on a C.N. counter, the variable resistance calibrator for hi-vols, and a unique valve for gas sampling bags.
The company's interests are wide ranging in the aerosol field, and include occupational health, ambient particulate pollution, aerosol generation, and toxicology.
