Through BGI’s continuing advances in the design of new inlets and cyclones, we are proud to offer a new sampler as a solution to the historical problem of high altitude sampling. BGI offers the model PQ167HA as an EPA type platform sampler that operates at a controlled flow rate of 5 LPM at elevations up to 15,000 feet (4,572 meters). The user can select a size selective inlet nozzle to collect a TSP, PM10, PM4, PM2.5 or PM1 sample and record all the sampling conditions while maintaining the flow rate constant up to 24 hours without AC power. The PQ167HA offers a solution for US EPA type samplers where the volume sample rate must remain constant to determine the precise cut-off diameter of the particulate. The sampler can operate from the internal DC battery for a 24 hour sample or use the AC mains power to recharge and operate the sampler. Ambient particulate is collected on a 47mm filter substrate identical to the EPA Federal Reference Method Sampler, making laboratory and site operating procedures consistent with EPA reference samplers.

PQ167HA Complete sampling platform using the BGI PQ167 PM10 EPA Reference Method Sampler with miniPM 10 inlet. Includes Inlet, sample inlet transport tube, 46.2mm Filter Holder and Filter Cassette. PQ100 sampler includes Keypad, LCD display, RS232 Connector, Environmental Enclosure with Pump, Flow Control, Data Logger amd Microprocessor. Tripod and sampler support tray included. Also includes RS232 Data Cable, MS compatible software and Operation/Service Manual. Sampler configured with P/N 2616 PM10 Nozzle. For other Size Selective sampling requirements choose from one of the following inlet nozzles and optional equipment.
