Applications
- Dust & Particulate Monitoring in Mountainous Regions
- Sampling Sites with Elevations up to 15,000 Ft (4572 meters)
- Visibility & Pristine Area Monitoring
- Fully Solar Compatable for Remote Site Locations
- BGI's New miniPM Inlet Compatable with EPA PM10 Designated PQ167 Sampler (RFPS-1298-124)
- 5.0 Liter/Minute Flow Rate Control
- BGI's New miniPM (Patent Applied For) Inlet is specially designed with multiple Size Selective Nozzles for user application for PM10, PM4, PM2.5, PM1 and TSP. Omni-directional inlet built to EPA design has been verified and requires no impactor oil
Through BGI’s continuing advances in the design of new inlets and cyclones, we are proud to offer a new sampler as a solution to the historical problem of high altitude sampling. BGI offers the model PQ167HA as an EPA type platform sampler that operates at a controlled flow rate of 5 LPM at elevations up to 15,000 feet (4,572 meters). The user can select a size selective inlet nozzle to collect a TSP, PM10, PM4, PM2.5 or PM1 sample and record all the sampling conditions while maintaining the flow rate constant up to 24 hours without AC power. The PQ167HA offers a solution for US EPA type samplers where the volume sample rate must remain constant to determine the precise cut-off diameter of the particulate. The sampler can operate from the internal DC battery for a 24 hour sample or use the AC mains power to recharge and operate the sampler. Ambient particulate is collected on a 47mm filter substrate identical to the EPA Federal Reference Method Sampler, making laboratory and site operating procedures consistent with EPA reference samplers.

High Altitude Ambient Flow Rate, Temperature & Pressure Calibrators
Model DC1 deltaCal and TC5 tetraCal®
Applications
- The only true NIST traceable calibration device for sampler flow rate, temperature and barometric pressure in mountainous regions.
- The historical problem of sampling and verification of flow rate have a solution. The BGI deltaCal and tetraCal® (formally triCal) calibrators both are state of the art calibrators that are the only calibrators designed to operate at high altitude and low temperature and pressure conditions.
- For use with all of the BGI family of PQ samplers and other manufactures sampling devices with flow rates from 0.1 to 30 liters/minute.
