Lubricant for Air Sampling Instruments

Many BGI products contain surfaces requiring lubrication. Modern air sampler design utilizes static "o" ring seals which are used in "push to connect" applications. When dry, "o" rings make this operation difficult and the "o" rings become damaged with use. BGI has determined the best all purpose lubricant for all BGI products is a Fluoropolymer-based non-petroleum product called Tetra®Lube Grease.

Description:

A proprietary high-performance industrial lubricant designed to protect moving components from extreme temperature, pressure, moisture and debris.

Tetra®Lube Grease provides effective lubrication over a broad thermal range (-100oF to 750oF+) by chemically bonding to and embedding metal surfaces subjected to friction. Tetra®Lube Grease is miscible with molybdenum, lithium, soap based, and other conventional type greases.

Tetra®Lube Grease, which contains no petroleum, is both a debris repelling and a hydrophobic lubricant. These properties combined with extreme high temperature and pressure resistance makes Tetra®Lube Grease the superior industrial lubricant for demanding mechanical applications.
