Calibration Service for Hi-Vol Calibrators

BGI Hi-Vol Calibrator

Increasingly, state and local air pollution groups are following Federal EPA guidelines regarding the careful operation of Hi-Vol networks. A dictated part of such careful work specifically requires the annual recalibration of calibrators used for the calibration of Hi-Vols. The purpose of this recalibration is to avoid errors which might entail due to the calibrator becoming damaged during field usage. Rationally, the one year period should extend from the date an instrument is placed in service rather than the purchase or recalibration date.

Recalibrations performed by BGI are done on the EPA specified Roots Type Meter, whose own calibration is directly NIST Traceable.

The calibration certificate presents all data and calculations leading to the final curve.

PLEASE NOTE: Calibrations are not kept on file at BGI.
